Deepti who was diagnosed with Leukaemia in August, underwent three rounds of Chemotherapy at Jaslok Hospital in Mumbai.But during her second chemotherapy on October 5, she was transfused with B positive blood instead of A positive. Deepti died on December 8.Deepti's father has alleged that his daughter's death was caused due to wrong blood transfusion. Incidentally, the hospital, which had apologised for the mistake, now claims that there is no question of negligence and Deepti died due to multi-organ failure.
