Today Syrian television confirmed that Israeli aicraft bombed Syrian territory. This happened while Syrian rebels have continued to fight to overthrow President Bashar al-Assad. In the past, al-Assad agreed to a UN supervised cease-fire but the rebels refused. As a result the number of victims of the civil war exceeded sixty thousands people, according to the UN.
